In the last year, LIUNA members from LABORERS LOCAL 120 and across the country have shown extraordinary power through their activism and a willingness to fight for good jobs and their union.

Through Make a Call to Build America, members such as you made more than 100,000 phone calls to help elect a President and Congress who will put men and women back to building America. More than 20,000 members volunteered for election activities. And in a matter of just days after the election, LIUNA members made more than 5,000 personal phone calls and sent more than 10,000 letters to Congress with the message that we need to build America, so America works again.

We have proven that we stand ready, willing and able by the thousands to be part  of a national army that will ramp up the political and organizing fight for good jobs that build our county.

Now is the time for you to join the fight by becoming an I Build America activist. I Build America activists are the ground troop for taking care of America's basic - our transportation system, energy systems and schoolhouses - and for creating good jobs doing it.

You'll be called on once a month to write letters, make phone calls and use your energy and your voice in other ways. It's not for everyone. But you'll get the rewards to prove it - based on your level of participation, you'll receive recognition ranging from hardhat stickers to LIUNA t-shirts up to invitations for special events.
